The fastest way to get a copy of your data is the export built into the app — it works today and needs nothing from us.

Export your data in the app

Open Profile → Privacy & Security → Your Data → Export Data ("Download a copy of all your data"). The app builds a JSON file and opens your device's share sheet so you can save or send it.

What's included

Your profile document
Wardrobe items
Wash cycles
Drying cycles
Ironing cycles
Machines
Connected devices (for push notifications)
Usage counters (your monthly scan/wash/stain-guide totals)
Security logs tied to your account

What's not included

A few things are deliberately out of scope for this export:

Root-level audit logs (server-side infrastructure records, not per-user data)
Analytics aggregates
Third-party billing and store provider records — Apple and Google hold your actual purchase/billing history, not us

Stain-guide chat history is a separate case worth calling out: it's stored only on your device, encrypted, and never sent to our servers — so it isn't part of this export at all, not because we're withholding it but because it never leaves your device in the first place.

If a section comes back empty

If one of the categories above can't be read at the moment you tap Export Data, that section is simply left empty in your file rather than stopping the whole export. An empty section in your download doesn't necessarily mean you have no data there — if that happens, contact us and we'll look into it directly.
