Welcome to Laundry Master (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Laundry Master regarding your use of our mobile application (“App”) and related services.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Laundry Master, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App and should uninstall it immediately.
These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy and Copyright Policy. Please review all documents carefully. By using the App, you also agree to:
- Our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information
- Our Copyright Policy, which explains our procedures for handling copyright infringement claims
Legal Compliance: These Terms comply with applicable laws, including:
- Laws of the Republic of Turkey (primary jurisdiction)

- CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) - for California residents
- KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu) - for users in Turkey

2. Description of Service
Laundry Master is a mobile application that provides intelligent wardrobe management and laundry care services.
2.1 Core Features
Wardrobe Management:
- Digital cataloging of clothing items with photos
- Organization by category, color, brand, and care requirements
- Search and filter capabilities
- Clothing status tracking (clean, in laundry, needs washing)
AI-Powered Care Label Scanning:
- Scan care labels using your device’s camera
- Automatic recognition of ISO 3758 care symbols
- Fabric composition detection
- Care instruction extraction and storage
Smart Wash Planning:
- Compatibility checking for wash loads
- Optimal temperature and program recommendations
- Batch optimization suggestions
- Wash cycle tracking and history
AI Care Advisor:
- Personalized wash recommendations based on clothing items
- Warnings and tips for optimal care
- Machine-specific recommendations
Stain Removal Guide:
- AI-powered stain removal recommendations
- Step-by-step instructions
- Personalized advice based on stain type and fabric
Wash History:
- Track past wash, drying, and ironing cycles
- Repeat previous wash configurations
- View care history for individual clothing items
2.2 Service Availability
- Free Tier: Limited access to core features (see Section 7 for details)
- Premium Tier: Unlimited access to all features via subscription
- Platforms: iOS and Android mobile devices
- Availability: Subject to App Store and Google Play Store availability
2.3 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time
- Add, remove, or modify features without prior notice
- Update the App with new features or improvements
- Discontinue the App or service entirely
3. Eligibility and Age Requirements
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Laundry Master.
By using the App, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- You are not prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
3.2 Parental Consent
If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction):
- You must have parental or guardian consent to use the App
- Your parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf
- Your parent or guardian is responsible for your use of the App
3.3 Prohibited Users
You may not use the App if:
- You are under 13 years of age
- You are prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
- You have been previously banned or suspended from the App
- You do not have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You can create an account using:
- Email and Password: Traditional email-based registration
- Google Sign-In: Sign in with your Google account
- Apple Sign-In: Sign in with your Apple ID (iOS only)
Account Information:
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
- You must maintain and update your account information as needed
- You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
- You may not create an account on behalf of another person
4.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining Confidentiality: Keeping your account credentials (email, password) secure
- All Activities: All activities that occur under your account, whether authorized or not
- Unauthorized Access: Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
- Password Security: Using a strong, unique password and not sharing it with others
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
4.3 Account Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time through:
- In-App: Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account
- Process: Requires password confirmation for security
- Effect: Permanent deletion of all your data (see Privacy Policy for details)
Account deletion is irreversible. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
4.4 Account Suspension or Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
- You attempt to harm the App or other users
- You violate any applicable laws or regulations
- We are required to do so by law or court order
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App immediately ceases
- We may delete your account and all associated data
- You remain liable for all activities prior to termination
5. Acceptable Use Policy
5.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
Illegal Activities:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Upload content that violates intellectual property rights
- Upload content that is defamatory, libelous, or violates privacy rights
Harmful Content:
- Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to hack, breach, or compromise the App’s security
- Interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation or servers
Unauthorized Access:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to access areas of the App not intended for your use
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
- Attempt to bypass security measures or usage limits
Misrepresentation:
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information
- Create fake accounts or use someone else’s identity
Commercial Use:
- Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App
- Use the App to compete with our services
Account Sharing:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Allow others to use your account
- Create accounts for others without authorization
5.2 Content Guidelines
When uploading content (photos, clothing data, notes), you agree that your content:
- Is Lawful: Does not violate any laws or regulations
- Is Appropriate: Does not contain offensive, harmful, or inappropriate material
- Is Yours: You have the right to upload and share the content
- Does Not Infringe: Does not violate intellectual property rights of others
- Is Accurate: Contains accurate information to the best of your knowledge
5.3 Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Remove any content that violates these Terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Report illegal activities to law enforcement
- Take legal action against violators
We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we may do so at our discretion.
6. User Content
6.1 Ownership of Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the App, including:
- Clothing item photos
- Care label images
- Clothing data (name, brand, color, size, etc.)
- Notes and tags
- Wash cycle records
6.2 License to Us
By uploading content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Store: Store your content on our servers (Firebase)
- Display: Display your content within the App
- Process: Process your content to provide App services (e.g., AI analysis)
- Backup: Create backups of your content
This license is limited to:
- Providing and improving the App’s services
- Technical processing necessary for App functionality
- Complying with legal obligations
You may revoke this license by deleting your content or account.
6.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and legality of your content
- Obtaining necessary permissions to upload content
- Ensuring your content does not violate these Terms or applicable laws
- Any consequences of uploading your content
6.4 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that:
- Violates these Terms
- Violates applicable laws
- Is reported as infringing or inappropriate
- We determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful or objectionable
We are not obligated to provide notice before removing content, but we may do so at our discretion.
Copyright Infringement:
- If your content is removed due to a copyright infringement claim, you may file a counter-notification
- See our Copyright Policy for detailed procedures
- We comply with DMCA and other applicable copyright laws
7. Subscription Terms
7.1 Free Tier
Laundry Master offers a free tier with limited access to features:
Free Tier Limits:
- Clothing Items: Maximum 10 clothing items in your wardrobe
- Care Label Scans: 10 scans per calendar month
- Stain Queries: 3 queries per calendar month
- AI Wash Recommendations: 2 recommendations per calendar month
Free Tier Features:
- Basic wardrobe management
- Limited AI features (within monthly limits)
- Wash planning and history
- All core features (subject to limits)
Monthly Limits Reset:
- Monthly limits reset at the beginning of each calendar month
- Clothing item limit is a total count (does not reset monthly)
- Unused monthly limits do not carry over to the next month
7.2 Premium Subscription
Premium Tier Benefits:
- Unlimited Clothing Items: No limit on wardrobe size
- Unlimited Care Label Scans: No monthly limit
- Unlimited Stain Queries: No monthly limit
- Unlimited AI Wash Recommendations: No monthly limit
- Priority Support: Enhanced customer support (if available)
Subscription Plans:
- Monthly Plan: Recurring monthly subscription
- Yearly Plan: Recurring yearly subscription (better value)
Pricing:
- Pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region
- Prices are set by App Store and Google Play Store
- Prices may change, but changes will not affect your current subscription period
7.3 Free Trial
7-Day Free Trial:
- New Premium subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial
- Trial eligibility is determined by App Store/Play Store policies
- During the trial, you have full Premium access
- No charge during trial period
Trial Conversion:
- At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription
- You will be charged according to your selected plan (monthly or yearly)
- You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges
Trial Limitations:
- One trial per user (enforced by App Store/Play Store)
- Trial may not be available in all regions
- Trial terms are subject to change
7.4 Automatic Renewal
Subscription Renewal:
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
- Renewal occurs unless you cancel before the renewal date
- You will be charged the same price for the renewal period
How to Cancel:
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Laundry Master → Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Laundry Master → Cancel
- Cancellation must be done through the App Store or Play Store
Cancellation Effect:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain Premium access until the end of the paid period
- No refunds for unused portions of the subscription period (subject to applicable laws)
7.5 Grace Period
3-Day Grace Period:
- If payment fails, you have a 3-day grace period
- During the grace period, you retain Premium access
- You can update your payment method to restore full service
- If payment is not updated within 3 days, Premium access is revoked
Grace Period Limitations:
- Grace period applies only to payment failures, not cancellations
- Grace period may not be available in all regions
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue grace periods
7.6 Refund Policy
Refund Eligibility:
- Refunds are handled by App Store and Google Play Store
- Refund policies vary by platform and region
- Contact App Store or Play Store support for refund requests
Refund Scenarios:
- Accidental Purchase: May be eligible for refund (platform-dependent)
- Technical Issues: Contact us first; we may assist with refund requests
- Cancellation: No refunds for unused portions (subject to applicable laws)
Our Refund Policy:
- We do not provide direct refunds (handled by platforms)
- We may assist with refund requests in cases of technical issues
- Refund decisions are made by App Store/Play Store, not by us
7.7 Price Changes
Price Modifications:
- We may change subscription prices at any time
- Price changes will not affect your current subscription period
- You will be notified of price changes before renewal
- Continued use after price change constitutes acceptance
Grandfathered Pricing:
- Existing subscribers may retain their current price for a period
- Grandfathered pricing is not guaranteed and may be discontinued
8. AI Features and Disclaimers
8.1 AI-Powered Features
Laundry Master uses Google Gemini AI (Firebase AI Logic) to provide:
- Care label scanning and symbol recognition
- Fabric composition detection
- Stain removal recommendations
- Wash cycle recommendations
8.2 AI Accuracy Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: AI RESULTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES.
Accuracy Limitations:
- AI accuracy depends on image quality, lighting, and label condition
- AI may misinterpret care symbols or fabric information
- AI results are estimates and may contain errors
- AI accuracy is not guaranteed and may vary
You Must Verify:
- Always check the actual care label on your garment
- Do not rely solely on AI results
- Verify care instructions before washing
- Use AI results as a reference, not as definitive instructions
8.3 No Liability for Clothing Damage
CRITICAL DISCLAIMER:
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR CLOTHING RESULTING FROM USE OF THE APP OR AI FEATURES.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Damage from following AI-recommended care instructions
- Damage from incorrect care label interpretations
- Damage from wash cycle recommendations
- Damage from stain removal suggestions
- Any other damage related to App usage
You assume all risk when using AI features and following App recommendations.
8.4 AI Processing Details
How AI Works:
- Care label images are sent to Google Gemini AI for processing
- Processing occurs in real-time
- Images are not stored by Google (processed and discarded)
- Only extracted information is stored in your wardrobe data
AI Limitations:
- AI may not recognize all care symbols
- AI may misinterpret complex or damaged labels
- AI may not detect all fabric types accurately
- AI recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees
8.5 User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Verifying AI results against actual garment labels
- Making final decisions about clothing care
- Following manufacturer’s care instructions when in doubt
- Using the App as a tool, not as a replacement for judgment
We strongly recommend:
- Always check the physical care label on your garment
- When in doubt, follow the most conservative care instructions
- Test stain removal methods on inconspicuous areas first
- Consult professional cleaners for valuable or delicate items
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our Intellectual Property
Ownership: Laundry Master, including but not limited to:
- The App design, code, and functionality
- Logos, trademarks, and brand names
- Documentation and user guides
- AI prompts and processing methods
- All content created by us
Is owned by benmertmiyim.dev and protected by:
- Copyright laws
- Trademark laws
- Trade secret laws
- Other intellectual property laws
9.2 Limited License to You
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install the App on your personal devices
- Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Access and use the App’s features according to these Terms
This license:
- Is personal to you (not transferable)
- Is non-exclusive (we can grant licenses to others)
- Can be revoked at any time for violation of these Terms
- Terminates automatically if you violate these Terms
9.3 Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use our trademarks, logos, or brand names without permission
- Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
- Sublicense, rent, lease, or sell access to the App
9.4 Your Content Rights
You retain ownership of your content (see Section 6 for details).
You grant us a license to use your content only for providing App services.

App Store / Google Play Store:
- App distribution and in-app purchase processing

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
We are not responsible for:
- Third-party service availability or performance
- Third-party service changes or discontinuation
- Your interactions with third-party services
- Data handling by third-party services
You should review third-party terms and policies before using the App.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability: Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-Infringement: That the App does not infringe third-party rights
- Accuracy: That App content or AI results are accurate or reliable
- Uninterrupted Service: That the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Security: That the App is secure or free from viruses or harmful code
11.2 No Guarantees
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will meet your requirements or expectations
- The App will be available at all times or in all locations
- The App will be free from errors, bugs, or defects
- Defects will be corrected
- The App is compatible with all devices or operating systems
- AI results will be accurate or reliable
11.3 Service Interruptions
The App may experience:
- Temporary unavailability due to maintenance or updates
- Interruptions due to technical issues or server problems
- Downtime due to third-party service issues
- Interruptions beyond our control (natural disasters, etc.)
We are not liable for:
- Any loss or damage due to service interruptions
- Inability to access the App or your data
- Data loss during service interruptions
11.4 Beta Features
Some features may be labeled as “beta” or “experimental”:
- Beta features may be unstable or incomplete
- Beta features may be removed or modified without notice
- Use beta features at your own risk
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Limitation of Our Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Indirect Damages:
- Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Loss of data or information
- Loss of goodwill or reputation
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Direct Damages:
- Damage to clothing or other property
- Personal injury or death
- Costs of substitute services
- Any other direct damages arising from App use
12.2 Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed:
- The amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, OR
- $100 USD, whichever is greater
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, etc.).
12.3 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions:
- Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
- Some limitations may not apply to you
- You may have additional rights under applicable law
12.4 Clothing Damage Disclaimer
SPECIFIC DISCLAIMER FOR CLOTHING DAMAGE:
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR CLOTHING, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Shrinking, fading, or color bleeding
- Fabric damage or deterioration
- Damage from following AI recommendations
- Damage from incorrect care instructions
- Any other damage related to App usage
You assume all risk when using the App and following its recommendations.
13. Indemnification
13.1 Your Indemnification Obligation
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless benmertmiyim.dev, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all:
Claims:
- Claims, demands, or lawsuits arising from your use of the App
- Claims that your content violates third-party rights
- Claims that you violated these Terms or applicable laws
Damages:
- Damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees)
- Liabilities arising from your actions or omissions
- Consequences of your violation of these Terms
13.2 Our Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification
- Require your cooperation in defending against claims
- Settle claims at our discretion (with your consent, not to be unreasonably withheld)
You agree to:
- Cooperate fully in the defense of any claim

- Provide alternatives if features are removed
14.2 Service Interruptions
The App may experience:
- Scheduled maintenance or updates
- Unscheduled downtime due to technical issues
- Interruptions due to third-party service issues
- Interruptions beyond our control
We are not liable for:
- Any loss or damage due to service interruptions
- Inability to access the App or your data
- Data loss during service interruptions
14.3 Account Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time (see Section 4.3).
Upon termination:
- Your access to the App immediately ceases
- Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
- You remain liable for all activities prior to termination

- We may delete your account and all associated data
- You remain liable for all activities prior to termination
- No refunds will be provided (except as required by law)

Upon account termination:
- Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
- Deletion may take up to 30 days
- Some data may be retained for legal or security purposes
- You can request data export before deletion (see Privacy Policy)
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
You consent to:
- The exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts
- The venue of courts in Turkey
- Service of process in accordance with Turkish law
15.3 EU Users
If you are located in the European Union:
- You may have additional rights under EU consumer protection laws
- You may file complaints with your local consumer protection authority
- Some dispute resolution provisions may not apply to you
15.4 California Users
If you are a California resident:
- You waive California Civil Code Section 1542 (waiver of unknown claims)

16.3 Acceptance of Changes
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If you do not agree with the changes:
- You must stop using the App immediately
- You should delete your account and uninstall the App
- Continued use after changes = acceptance of new Terms

17. Severability
17.1 Invalid Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be:
- Unenforceable
- Invalid
- Illegal
- Contrary to applicable law
That provision will be:

- If modification is not possible, severed from these Terms
17.2 Remaining Provisions
The remaining provisions of these Terms will:
- Continue in full force and effect
- Remain valid and enforceable
- Not be affected by the invalid provision
18. Entire Agreement
18.1 Complete Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Copyright Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and benmertmiyim.dev regarding:
- Your use of the App
- Your relationship with us
- All matters related to the App
18.2 Supersedes Prior Agreements
These Terms supersede and replace:
- Any prior agreements or understandings
- Any oral or written communications
- Any representations or warranties not contained in these Terms
18.3 No Reliance on Other Statements
You acknowledge that:
- You have not relied on any statement or representation not contained in these Terms
- These Terms may only be modified in writing (as specified in Section 16)
- No oral modifications are effective

20. Additional Provisions
20.1 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent.
We may assign or transfer these Terms to:
- Any affiliate or subsidiary
- Any entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- Any successor in interest
20.2 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us to be effective.
20.3 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to:
- Natural disasters, acts of God, or other events beyond our control
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Government actions or regulations
- Third-party service failures
- Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
20.4 Language
These Terms are written in English. If translated into other languages:
- The English version is the authoritative version
- Any conflicts between versions will be resolved in favor of the English version
20.5 Headings
Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
20.6 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights. Only you and benmertmiyim.dev are parties to these Terms.
21. Jurisdiction-Specific Provisions
21.1 Turkey (KVKK)
If you are located in Turkey:
- These Terms are governed by Turkish law
- Disputes will be resolved in Turkish courts
- You have rights under KVKK (see Privacy Policy)
- Turkish consumer protection laws may apply
21.2 European Union (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union:
- You have rights under GDPR (see Privacy Policy)
- EU consumer protection laws may apply
- Some dispute resolution provisions may not apply
